Aaron Gaboury-Gorges' Memorial Service Video

Born October 12, 2003 and his kind soul entered the gates of heaven on November 27, 2022 as a result of the complications from Type 1 Diabetes.

Aaron attended school in New London until the family moved to Wild Rose, where he embraced being a Class of 2022 Wildcat. Aaron was involved in Track, Wrestling, Football, Musical and Choir. Aaron enjoyed snowboarding, boating, swimming, and snowmobiling. Over the last few years, Aaron also enjoyed joining his dads at their family condo in Florida, the warm pool, walking on the beach, shelling, parasailing, and boating on the Gulf of Mexico.

Aaron was a smiling face at Evergreen Campsites and Resort for many seasons, having mastered the art of making 76 beds on a Sunday. He had goals of becoming an electrician after spending a summer traveling with Locy Electric as a helper.

Aaron will be remembered for his beautiful smile and being a kind, caring, compassionate, polite young man that made this world a brighter and better place.

He will be missed by many, especially by his Dads, Jeremy Gaboury and Jeremy Gorges, Sister Mariah Gaboury-Gorges (Alberto Alcala), Brothers Jacob (Naomi Kaho) Gaboury-Gorges, Matthew Gaboury-Gorges and Charles Weatherwalk, niece Raelyn and nephew Alex, Grandparents James and Vicki Gaboury and Chuck and Jane Gorges, Aunts Jennifer (John) Eng, Heather (Jason) Roland and Cara (Dave) Fields and Uncle Jacob (Emily) Gorges as well as by all of his cousins and friends. Aaron will also be missed by his mother, Cynthia Wheeler.

A celebration of life for Aaron will be held at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in New London, on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Steve Savides and Rev. Kevin Dembinski officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.

If you attend, please feel free to wear your favorite sweat pants and hoodie in Aarons honor.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

Until we meet again, sweet boy, please remember how much we love you.
