Alice (Allen) Burton, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2026. Alice was born to the late Frank and Mollie (Ahearn) Allen on June 13, 1939. She attended Most Precious Blood School and graduated high school with the class of 1957. Alice married Gordon Burton on July 14, 1962. He passed away on November 4, 2012. Alice volunteered at church and at St. Joe’s Nursing Home.

Alice is survived by her children, Julie Ferrante’, Peter Burton, Deb Buelow, Amy (Wayne) Huntley, Paul Burton and Molly Burton, along with grandchildren, Hunter, Jade and Eli Huntley, and Cole Buelow. She is further survived by her sister, Sarah Jane Allen and her brother, John Thomas (Jean) Allen; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mollie; her husband, Gordon; and her siblings, Mary Catherine (Marshall) Shaw, Elaine (Bernard) Dunn, Loretta Allen, Dorothy (Jack) LaFave, Robert Allen, Kenneth (Rita) Allen, Gordon (Loretta) Allen, Loraine (Don) Frey, and Father Richard Allen.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London, with Fr. Dave Hoffman officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow at the parish cemetery.
