Ann (Miller) Dufield passed away unexpectedly, Saturday January 31, 2026, at the age of 69 surrounded by her loving family. Ann was born on May 16, 1956, in Waupaca WI. Ann Dufield was the heart and soul of her family, the steady center around which so many good memories were made. She found her greatest joy on her land by the river, where family and friends gathered to share laughter, stories, and the simple peace she cherished. At her home in New London, Ann could be found, tending to her flowers, shaping the landscape with her own hands, and keeping a loving eye on her "girls," the four dogs who followed her everywhere. She had a creative spirit and a deep love of crafting, often losing herself in projects that became thoughtful gifts or little touches that made her home feel even more welcoming. She found great joy in rummage sales, where she could never resist the thrill of a good deal. Every item she brought home came with a story that brought a sparkle to her eye and joy to her voice, along with a clear idea of exactly who in her life needed that newfound treasure or what she could transform it into. Her warmth, humor, and generous spirit live on in the countless moments she created and the people who were lucky enough to share them with her.

Ann is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) Dufield, sons Nathan (Kelly) Johnston, Shane (Abbey) Johnston, daughter Stacy (Chris Miller) Dufield and grandson Hunter Johnston, brothers; Bill Miller, Rick Rolloff & sisters; Sandy Penny, Marlene Hopfensperger.

She was preceded in death by her brothers John Miller, Gary Rolloff and sisters, Ginny Johnson and Barb Rosin.

Ann, we will endure a lifetime of missing you for having had the privilege of being loved by you.

A Celebration of Ann's Life will be held from 1:00 p.m. ~ 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at the American Legion in New London.
