Arthur Hansen's Funeral Service Video Arthur "Art" Hansen Sr., age 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.  He was born on December 19, 1935, in Wauwatosa, son of the late Fred and Viola Hansen.  Art was united in marriage to Jane Boser on June 22, 1957, in Milwaukee; she preceded him in death on November 2, 2021.  Art served his country in the US Army for 24 years.  He enjoyed tinkering and fixing things, feeding the animals (birds, chipmunks & squirrels), and volunteering with the youth at the New London High School. Art loved meeting people and would talk with anyone, leaving a lasting impact on all who met him. He also loved all his dogs.

He is survived by his children, Arthur (Brenda) Hansen and Darrell (Jackie) Hansen; grandchildren, Darrell (Sarah) Hansen, Ashley (Austin) Hauck, and Cody Hansen, and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Dallas, Carter, Jacob, Jordyn, Wilhelmina, and Leonidas.

Art was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers-in-law, Dick, Ralph, and Robert, and two sisters-in-law, Carol & Joyce.

Funeral service for Art will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London with Fr. John Kleinschmidt officiating.  Burial will be in the Most Precious Blood Cemetery, New London.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
