Barb Dailey Memorial Service Video

Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Barbara Dailey passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the age of 81 years. Barbara was born in New London, Wisconsin on May 23, 1943 to the late Luther and Barbara (Timar) Volz. She attended high school in New London, and graduated with the class of 1961, before going on to work for AAL (Thrivent). She married Roger Dailey on May 23, 1964, and once they were blessed with children, she became a full time stay at home mom. They lived in New Hampshire from 1984 – 1996 and moved back home to be with her grandkids.

Above all else, Barbara loved her family. She made life fun, always spending time with her children and extended family. Almost every weekend after church she would bring her kids to visit their grandparents. Barbara was strong in her faith and instilled those values in her family. She cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren at all their events. Her hobbies included sewing (even sewing clothes for her kids in their younger years), flower gardening, canning, cooking, and trying new recipes. She loved spring and summer and the flowers that came with the seasons.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Roger, of almost 61 years; children, Laurie (Edward) Kumbier, Shannon (Ann) Dailey, Aaron (Angie) Dailey; grandchildren, Kyle (Christina) Kumbier, Stephanie Kumbier, Angela Dailey, Tricia (Michael) Rieder, Christina (Jacob) Dailey; great grandchild, Harper Rieder; siblings, Merilyn Palmer and Cindy Grothe; niece, Heather (Seth) Otto, brother-in-law, Bob Dailey; as well as numerous cousins, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Barbara Volz; brother, Leander Volz; brother-in-law, Milton Palmer; and sister-in-law, Kaylene Dailey.

The Funeral Service for Barbara will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenville, Wisconsin, with Rev. Timothy Dolan officiating. The Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery immediately following the service.

The family would like to thank the hospice team at Cherry Meadows for the care and compassion given to Barbara.
