Barbara Lee Hawkins, age 74, of New London, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Cherry Meadows. Barb was born in Beaver Dam on March 7, 1951.  She married Robert Hawkins on December 12, 1970.

Barbara was known for putting others first and she lovingly took care of her husband and their daughters. She loved to laugh and served as a bridge over troubled waters for everyone she knew. She will be remembered for her selfless spirit, her warmth, and her easy laugh. She will be loved and missed deeply by her husband, Bob and her entire family.

Barb is survived by her husband, Bob; their daughters, Tanya Hawkins (James Modrak) and Jennifer (significant other, David Schacher); grandchildren, Haley Hawkins and Cadence Koerner; and great grandchild, Colby. She is further survived by her brothers, Donald, Jim, Tim and Arthur "Buddy" Wright; her sisters, Carol Fredrickson (Bob), Cate Pierce, and Eva Buhrandt (Jerry); along with other relatives and friends.

Barb was preceded in death by niece Joanne Fredrickson, Best Friend Karen, sister in law Linda Wright, brothers David and Tom.

Barb's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Cherry Meadows Hospice, as well as Jenny Schmidt, the most wonderful caretaker and devoted companion who Barb grew to love very much.

A Celebration of Barb's life will be held at a later date which will be published on the funeral home website.
