Obituary

Barry L. Elliott, age 61, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 19, 2022.  He was born on March 17, 1961, in Appleton, son of Samuel T. and Judy I. (Jensen) Elliott. On August 10, 2008, Barry was united in marriage to Joyce M. Werner in Shiocton.  He enjoyed traveling with Joyce (one of his wishes was to see the mountains again - which they did together a few months before his passing). Barry loved spending time with his family at the family cabin in Langlade, fishing for walleyes with his sons and their families, and also hunting.  Barry worked at Hillshire Farms in New London as a utility supervisor, for many years.   He completed many work-related trainings at Fox Valley Tech.  Barry also worked for 8 years for Trilliant Foods as a production lead. Barry was involved in Boy Scouts of America, both in his youth, as well as an adult volunteer.  He was a wonderful husband, son, father, grandfather, uncle and friend and he will be greatly missed.  His great wit, personality, laughter, and one-liners will be missed by everyone that knew him - he was one of a kind.

Barry is survived by his wife Joyce; mother Judy Elliott; children, Shane (Krista) Elliott, Jesse (Sheena) Elliott, and Kerry Pluger; six grandchildren; step-children Mary Peterson and Tyler and Justin Behnke; and brother Terry (Marcia) Elliott.  He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

His father Samuel preceded him in death, as well as numerous aunts and uncles.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home, Hortonville from 1-4 PM on Friday, April 1, 2022.
