Betty J. Blank, AKA “Betty Boop”, aged 94, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Apple Creek Place in Appleton.

She was born on November 19, 1931 to Floyd and Ruth Schoenrock. She graduated from New London High School before going on to work for Hamilton’s Pickle Factory, Dons Supper Club, Denny’s, Kwik Trip, and the New London High School over the span of her career.

Betty loved nature and enjoyed watching, and feeding the local wildlife that called her yard home, often recruiting family members to help her bring home hundreds of pounds of birdseed at a time. Another great love of hers was watching the Packer and Brewer games. She was also a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church in New London.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard; and their daughter Sheri Gose.

She is survived by her daughter Sheila (Bruce) Lee, and her son Steven Blank; she is further survived by her brother Danny (Joyce) Schoenrock; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th, at 11:00am at Floral Hill Cemetery, 1210 W. Beckert Road in New London.
