Billie Jean Allen of New London, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the age of 96. Billie Jean was born on September 2, 1929 in Menasha, to the late George and Minerva (Bransted) O'Bright. She wed Ivan Allen on February 11, 1950. In 1996, after 46 years of marriage, Ivan was laid to rest.

Billie Jean was a longtime dedicated member of the VFW Auxiliary and a worker for the Friday night fish fry. She was also an election poll worker, and a lifelong member of the First Congregational Church in New London, where she had the distinction of being the oldest member.

Billie Jean is survived by her son, Bob (Bobbye) Allen; her brothers, Richard (Linda) O'Bright and Ronald (Maxine) O'Bright; her sister, Linda (Leonard) Blank; grandchildren, Tina (Kevin) Clegg, and Alicia (Dan) Meagher; great grandchildren, Sawyer and Garret Clegg, and Ben, Lila, and Cormac Meagher; and her daughter-in-law, Terri Allen.

Billie Jean was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, James, and Renald; her sister, Lois; son, Bruce; daughter, Bonnie; and grandson, Timothy.

The Funeral Service for Billie Jean will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London, with Rev. Stephen Savides officiating. The visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Mosquito Hill Cemetery in the Town of Liberty.
