Bonnie G. Bach, age 79, passed away on December 1, 2022.  She was born in Shiocton, daughter of the late Walter and Edna (Knoke) Laedtke.  Bonnie grew up on the family farm and graduated from Shiocton High School, class of 1961.  She graduated from Stevens Point State University in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Education.  Her first job as food supervisor at Marshall Field & Company brought her to Chicago.   She remained there for 8 years, 7 of which were spent working at Marie Murphy Jr. High School in Wilmette, IL, where she taught Home Economics.  She returned to Wisconsin in 1969, where she taught at Shiocton Middle & High School for 24 and ½ years.  On June 20, 1975, she married her true love, Charlie Bach, in Stephensville. They were blessed with a daughter, Janet Rosemary.

Bonnie was a loyal member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London and enjoyed singing in the choir, working at the resale shop, and volunteering.  She worked at the Community Cupboard food pantry for many years where she made many friends.  Her passion was sewing, especially making quilts for the special people in her life.  She was a member of two local quilt groups.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband Charlie; daughter Janet (Adam) Steward; granddaughter Iris; brothers, Ronnie (Carmen) Laedtke and Larry (Karen) Laedtke; sister in-law June Laedtke; and Charlie's siblings: John (Diane) Bach; Pete Bach; Kathy (Jim) Fabisiak; Jane (Tony) Carlson along with 11 nephews and 9 nieces. Bonnie is also survived by many other close family and friends including her dear friend, Pat Osmuss.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Joan Laedtke and Janet Laedtke, brother Gary Laedtke, mother and father in-law John and Ellen Bach, sisters in-law Rosemary Bach and Mary Bach and a nephew, Dale Laedtke.

Funeral services for Bonnie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London with Fr. John Kleinschmidt officiating.  Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Burial will be in the St. Denis Cemetery, Town of Bovina.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at St. Paul Elder Services and Theda Care Appleton Hospice along with the 7 th floor nursing team for their compassionate and loving care for Bonnie.
