Bonnie Ruscher's Funeral Service Video

Bonnie M. Ruscher, age 80, formerly of New London, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022.  She was born on June 27, 1942, in New London, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Gertrude (Guyette) Prahl.  On September 28, 1963, she was united in marriage to Earl Ruscher at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London. He preceded her in death in 2017.  Bonnie graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran School in 1960.  She worked at Bordens in New London and then took a job as a certified medical assistant with Dr. Joseph Weber and later for Dr. Brian Van Hoozen until retirement.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Wolf River Theatrical Group, and a lifetime member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London. Her pride and joy were her dogs, Shotzie, Mame, and Bretta Mae.

Bonnie is survived by her sister Connie (Art) Posselt.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Earl; and a brother Kenneth "Mike" Prahl Jr.

The Christian Funeral for Bonnie will be held at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022, with Rev. Marcus Schultz officiating.  Burial will be in the Greenville Lutheran Cemetery.  A visitation for Bonnie will be held at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
