Carole Ann Werner's Memorial Mass Video

Carole Ann Werner, age 81, of Hortonville, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023. Carole was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 4, 1942 to the late Walter and Edna (Fiest) Andersen and she married Ronald Werner on September 2, 1961.

Carole enjoyed reading, solving crossword puzzles, playing cards, gardening, and spending time with her grandkids, including attending their sporting events. She also enjoyed a cold glass of chardonnay.

During the cold Wisconsin winters, Carole and Ron chose to winter in sunny Panama City Beach, Florida, spending time with their dear friends.

Carole is survived by her husband, Ron of 62 years; three children, Mike (and special friend, Sue) Werner, Kelly (Kurt) Krueger, Tricia (Ryan) Grossman; brother, Wally (Winnie) Andersen. She is further survived by six grandchildren, Ryan (friend, Krista) Werner, Justin Werner, Alyssa Krueger, Keaton Krueger, Logan Grossman, and Marin Grossman; three great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Hunter, Amaya; and one great-great-granddaughter, Kehlani.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Edna.

The Memorial Mass for Carole will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville, with Fr. David Funk officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at St. Joe's and Trinity Terrace for the compassion and the care given to Carole over the last few months.
