Chad Capelle Funeral Service Video

Chad Aaron Capelle, of Hortonville, passed away of an unknown health condition on Saturday, December 7, 2024.  Chad was born on July 16, 1975 to Gerald and Shirley Capelle.  He graduated from Appleton West High School with the Class of 1993.  In his high school years, Chad had a passion for wrestling and football.  He was very proud to have achieved state titles in both sports.  Chad married the love of his life, Joanie Bohman on November 4, 2000.  Welcoming his twins, Samuel and Elise in 2004, was his greatest joy!  Chad was proud to be a salesman at American State Equipment for 30 years.  In his free time, he loved going to the cottage on Shawano Lake. Chad was happy to lend a helping hand whenever needed.   His favorite was hanging out and socializing with family and friends. Anytime he walked into a room, he would scan it to see who he could catch up with and enjoy a Captain and Diet Coke.

Chad is survived by his wife, Joanie; son, Samuel Capelle (special friend, Kennedy Jackels); daughter, Elise Capelle; father, Gerald Capelle; brothers, Mark (Eike) and Jay (Tara) Capelle; sister, Stacey (Mitch) Faile and sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Les VanOrnum, Bill Bohman, Tom and Sue Bohman, Jane and Roger Reiland, Charlie and Julia Bohman, Len and Sara Bohman and Gina and Mike "Chubby" Olk. Additionally, nieces, Kayleigh, Kyra, Carly and Olivia and nephews, Austin and Colton, along with many more loved nieces and nephews on the Bohman side. He is further survived by his uncles, Phil (Sandy) Reindfleisch and Kenneth (Carol) Capelle Jr.

Chad was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley; grandparents, Katherine and Richard Reindfleisch and Kenneth Sr. and Iola Capelle and his father and mother-in-law, Edward and Margaret Bohman.

A brief Prayer Service for Chad will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London with Rev. Kevin Dembinski.  The visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
