Charlotte M. Larsen, age 87 of New London passed away at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. Charlotte was born on February 21, 1936 to the late Merle and Charlotte (Whitney) Ravey. She enjoyed traveling, gambling and the Milwaukee Brewers. While on vacation in the Dominican, Charlotte volunteered her time to help the Woman's Co-op. She traveled across the country, making friends everywhere she went. She loved visiting Myrtle Beach the most. Charlotte lived on coffee, toast, cigarettes and chocolate. She adored her cat, Briggs, but loved nothing more than time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Charlotte enjoyed her trips to Vegas, camping in her younger years, fishing and drinking Fireball with her grandkids, Adam, Nick and Axel.
Charlotte is survived by her children, Randy (Colleen) Fletcher, Pam (Bob) Delzer, Brenda Guyette, Muggs (Mark) Rodgers, Linda Everson, Phyllis Van Ark (Dennis Kopitzke) and Michelle Malliet; grandchildren, Jeromy (Julie) Van Dyke, Katrina (Jon) Krake, Tony Fletcher, Molly (BJ) Van Dyke, Tanya (Adam) Fletcher, Michael (Julie) Delzer, Janet Delzer, Dawn Delzer, Jason (Tanya) Guyette, Tracey Guyette, Adam Rodgers, Markie (Carl) Koch, Christopher Ferge, Amy Ferge, Crystal Bentzler, Jeff (Erica) Van Ark Jr., Jordan Van Ark (Bethany Guyette), Nick (Heather) Hidde and Axel Hidde; forty three great-grandchildren and her cat, Briggs. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews; brother-in-law, Bernard Ritchie and former son-in-law, Jason Starks.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, George Craig, Lois Craig, Garth Craig, Harley Craig, Janice Schiavone, Baby Ravey, Genevieve Rajek, Roger Ravey, Charles Ravey, Malcom Ravey, twin sister, Charleen Ritchie and sons-in-law, Larry Guyette, Brian Everson and Steve Hidde.
The Funeral Service for Charlotte will be held at 11:00 on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London with Bob Delzer presiding. The visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
The family wishes to thank Sarah and Niki with hospice, Tanya and Jason Guyette and her daughter, Pam Delzer, along with her daughter, Michelle Malliet, who spent countless hours with Mom.
