Christine Blesch (Surprise), age 75 of New London, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 at ThedaCare Appleton.  Christine was born on June 19, 1948 in New London to the late Donald and Carmel Surprise.  She married Stanley Blesch on May 4, 1968.  Christine was a lifelong resident of New London and has fond memories of growing up on the river. She enjoyed painting and gardening. Christine treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She worked as a pharmacy technician for several years; however her primary job was being a dedicated mother. Christine and Stan took many trips to Pensacola, FL.

Christine is survived by her children, Edmund (Remy) Blesch, Eric (Susan) Blesch and Stan Jr. (Sandra) Blesch and grandchildren, Gerald, Curtis, Alexander, Thomas and Sarah Blesch.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Paula and Brenda.

A visitation for Christine will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London.  Burial will be at New Maple Creek Cemetery, Town of Maple Creek.
