Clarence Doell's Funeral Service Video

Clarence G. Doell, age 89 of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospital.  Clarence was born to the late Emil and Elsie (Huebner) Doell on June 2, 1933 in the town of Greenville.  He was united in marriage to Gladys Roblee on August 3, 1957 at Immanuel Church in Clayton. Clarence lived most of his life in Greenville and was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He worked at Miller Electric for 38 years.  Clarence served his country in the US Army for two years and was a member of AMVETS Post #30.  He enjoyed many years of retirement.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Gladys, together they celebrated 65 years of marriage;  son, Steven (Becky) Doell and daughter, Darlene Greely; grandchildren, Tim (Alicia) Doell, Cory (Jody) Doell, Alyssa Doell and Autumn Greely;  five great-grandchildren, Tucker, Colt, Layla, Ryder and Maggie and sister-in-law, Nancy Roblee.  He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gerald; siblings, Eldred (Verna) Doell, Anita (Henry) Ruscher, Marcella (Wilmer) Tiedt, Melvin (Hazel) Doell and Arly (Eunice) Doell and brothers-in-law, Frank (Elvera) Roblee and Allen Roblee.

The funeral service for Clarence will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church (W7265 School Road) in Greenville with Pastor Phil Koelpin officiating.  The visitation will take place at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Greenville.
