Dale Nichols Jr., age 70, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness.  He was born on November 08, 1951, son of the late Dale Sr. and Gladys (Greenwood) Nichols.  In 1960, his family moved to Shiocton from Kenosha.  Dale attended the local schools and graduated from Shiocton High School with the class of 1971.  After graduating High School, Dale served in the US Army.  Dale loved traveling and being a free spirit.  He loved California and the ocean.  Had Dale lived, he would be traveling to Florida – a trip he was eagerly anticipating.  He enjoyed his friends and being social.  Dale always valued friendship and made strong bonds with his friends.

Dale is survived by a son Dale (Chanda) Nichols, III, their children, Mason and Alysa; daughter Kristina Nichols; former wife and mother of his children, Rae Nichols; nieces, Sarah (Mike) Mertel, Cynthia (Dace) Carlson, Theresa (Ryan) Daul, and Lisa (Roland Saferite) Ritchie; siblings, Diana (Bill) Blom and Terry Nichols; and a brother-in-law, Larry Ritchie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Judy Ritchie and a nephew, Jeff Ritchie.
