Daniel Joseph Kepner, age 61 of New London, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at his home in Oshkosh.  Dan was born on February 17, 1960, in Morris, MN to William and Gloria (Olson) Kepner.  He worked for the city of New London as a mechanic for the Parks Department for 16 years, retiring in 2014.  Dan served his country in the US Navy from September 1978 to October 1995 and received numerous commendations and awards.

Dan is survived by his mother, Gloria Kepner; brothers, Christopher (Jana) Kepner and Jeff (Deborah) Kepner and sisters, Angela (Dan) Bigalke and Julie Quick.  He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Dan was preceded in death by his father, William, and nephew, Andrew Stiebs.

The funeral for Dan will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London.  The visitation will take place at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Full military honors will be held at the church.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
