Daniel Lemke's Funeral Service Video

Daniel Lee Lemke, age 63 of New London, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer. Daniel was born on May 4, 1961 to the late Arthur and Phyllis (Schroeder) Lemke Fields.  He loved the outdoors and was most happy sitting out on his fishing raft in the spring or in his hunting stand in the fall.  When he was not hunting or fishing, you could find him tinkering in his garage or sitting in a lawn chair in the garage watching traffic and people go by.  Daniel worked for Walker Forge for 30 years.

Daniel is survived by his son, Cory; his daughter, Kristin; grandsons, Lyric and KeAndre; brothers, Mike, and Tim (Dawn) and his sisters, LouAnn (Dan) Hahn and Stacey (Pete) Lantvit.  He is further survived by the mother of his children, Jill Bosquez; his sisters-in-law, Barb (Bernie) Ritchie, Susan (special friend, Larry) and Brenda (Tim) Maass, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Leland and Bette Gorges, as well as good friends, Dan Wallace and Steve Hanneman.

The funeral service for Daniel will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London.  The visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be in Ellington Union Cemetery, Town of Ellington.
