Dawn Marie Buelow passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022, at the age of 57.  She was born on January 8th, 1965, in New London, the daughter of Dennis and Donna (Harris) Buelow.   Dawn loved her adventures in Door County with her friends and family throughout the years.  She enjoyed playing Sequence, shaking dice and never lost a game of Scrabble.  Dawn loved creating memories with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and her dog Rusty.  Her family loved cooking with her and will carry on their traditional Christmas cookie decorating each year. She was always willing to help people without a second thought, and could make a friend anywhere. Dawn was feisty and courageously fought cancer until the very end.

Dawn is survived by her mother Donna Buelow (Leo Gagnow); children Darlyn (Kylee) Summers and Hunter Olson (Cruz Zastrow); grandchildren Jack and Theodore Summers; siblings Darcie (Brian) Starks and Jody Stilen; her special aunt Darla Buelow;  Hunter's father, Andrew Olson; and extended family, Amy Jahnke and Annette Olson.  She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Finnegan; father Dennis; a sister Dora; brother Dean; father-in-law Jeff; and a niece Danielle.

The family would like to thank the staff at New London Hospital and ThedaCare Hospice.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2022, 12:30-4:00 PM, at Crystal Falls in New London.
