Delmer Wayne Steinberg, of Shiocton, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, October 3, 2026, at the age of 92 years.

Del was born on September 23, 1934 in Hortonville, Wisconsin to the late Reinhald and Hazel (Hunsicker) Steinberg. He attended high school in both Shiocton and New London, graduating from New London. Del worked on the family farm for a while before enlisting in the US Army. After his time in the military, Del married his high school sweetheart, Carla Eckhart, on September 8, 1956. Del loved the outdoors, especially duck hunting. He loved Nascar and Racing. He worked for many years at Wire Products in Hortonville, and eventually retired from Shiocton Lumber around 2006.

Del is survived by his children, Diane Davis, Alan (Karen) Steinberg, and Randy Steinberg; grandchildren, Cody, Christie, Nick, Amanda, and Jacob; great grandchildren, Caden, Kegan, Hunter, Parker, Brayden, Alexis, Beckett, Cassidy, Olivia, and Chloe; along with one great-great grandchild, Maizie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reinhald and Hazel; his wife, Carla; his sister, Janice Meulemans; and his son-in-law, Rex Davis.

Family and friends of Del will gather to say their final goodbyes from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2026, at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Private burial to follow.
