He also loved planting trees and flowers around the yard.

Dennis was a long time member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and served on various boards and committees. His greatest enjoyment was his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He attended their school activities and sports.

His favorite Bible verse was Revelation 21:1,4 1 "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.  4 'He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

The Funeral Service for Dennis will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville, with Rev. Tristan Paustian officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at the Little Wolf Cemetery in Manawa.

The family would like to thank Living Tree Estates and Moments Hospice for their care and compassion.
