Dennis Lee Schneider, a beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend, known for his unwavering love for his family, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025. Dennis was born on June 2, 1950 in New London, Wisconsin to the late Arthur and Grace (Affeldt) Schneider. He married Ann Menting on April 18, 1987.

Dennis worked 42 years at Hillshire in New London but in his free time he enjoyed working on cars, watching Bonanza and other westerns, and Hallmark movies on TV with his wife. He loved hunting and racing lawnmowers. His greatest love was for his family; his children and grandchildren were his whole life.

Dennis will be greatly missed by his wife of almost 38 years, Ann; children, Kerry Schneider, Bernard (Molly) Schneider, Robin Schneider, Angela Peerenboom (Shannon), and Amanda Schneider (Luke); step-children, Mike (Jennifer), Pat, and Gerry (Cindy); special granddaughter, Oliviah; grandchildren, Dylan, Kalyna, Ashlynn, Kylee, Owen, Jaden, Dayton, Brynn, Hailey, and Kaleb; along with his brothers and sisters; and extended family, Jean (Paul) Draheim, Mike (Meg) Draheim, and Crystal Hegner (Marty).

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Grace; stepson, Pete; brothers and sisters; and nephew, Noah Taylor.

The Funeral Service for Dennis will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London, with Rev. Kevin Dembinski officiating. The Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
