Donald Scott's Funeral Service Video

Donald Dennis Scott, age 71, of Shiocton, Wisconsin, passed away at home on Friday, August 25, 2023. Don was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on May 5, 1952, to the late Royce and Charmaine (Molash) Scott. After high school graduation, he joined the Army National Guard in 1970, attainning Sargeant status before his honorable discharge in 1976. Don married Charlotte O'Mary in May of 1986, enjoying 37 years of marriage, and lost her just six months ago to cancer.

Don had a passion for hunting, fishing, and eating cheese curds, and in his younger years, motorcycles and taxidermy projects. He liked working on puzzles and collecting coins and stamps. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and mowing the lawn, but what he loved the most was being a grandpa. It brought him so much joy! He had an unmatched sense of humor and a huge heart. Don lovingly cared for Charlotte, the love of his life, as she battled cancer during her final years.

Don is survived by his children, Nicole (John) Allen, Alyssa (Tanis) Scott, Donald (Erica) Scott and Sarah (Tyler) Scott; grandchildren, Linnae, Renly, Winter, and Wilder; siblings, Marguerite Flanagan, Bonnie Piezker, Julie Erdman, and Lisa Blom.

Don was preceded in death by his loving wife, Charlotte; his parents, Royce and Charmaine Scott; his brother, Daniel Scott; sister in-law, Cindy Scott; brother in-laws, Joe Piezker, Mike Erdman, and Glen Flanagan.

The funeral service for Don will be held at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Shiocton, on Friday, September 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kevin Dembinski officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
