Donald Fowle's Memorial Mass Video
Donald Dean Fowle, age 83, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023 surrounded by family at ThedaCare Medical Center in Neenah following complications from chronic illnesses. Don was born in South Milwaukee on May 4, 1940. He was the only child of Everett and Anne Fowle. Don was a fun-loving guy that loved to laugh. He enjoyed spending time playing games on the computer and studying the stock market. He encouraged his girls and all of his grandchildren to work hard and pursue their dreams. He cherished family time most of all! Don had a deep love for dogs throughout his life. We hope you are now surrounded by all of your 4-legged friends. We will love Lily as much as you did and will always take care of her. Don struggled with many chronic illnesses and their complications, while he taught us all resilience, endurance, and strength. His faith in God was very strong and we can all be at peace knowing his suffering has finally ended and the Lord has called him home. He was proud to be a US Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. Don was a dedicated employee of Wisconsin Bell for 35 years. His passions included being a part of the 4th degree Knights of Columbus and hobbies included woodworking and crafting.
Don is survived by his wife, Ann; daughters, Lisa (Mary) and Jenny (Randy); his three grandchildren, Tony (Ashna), Allison, Josie (Liam) and two step-grandchildren, Morgan and Kenzi.
Don was preceded in death by his parents.
The Memorial Mass for Don will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2023 at St. Therese Catholic Church (213 Wisconsin Ave). The visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the mass. To honor Don's love of animals, the family requests donations be made to Wisconsin Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the entire staff of the ICU at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, with a special heartfelt thank you to RN, Taylor.
