Dorothy Mae Goffard, age 89, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died peacefully Friday, April 23, 2021, after a 10-year struggle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born July 15, 1931, to the late John and Marie School. Dorothy was united in marriage to Ervin J. Goffard on February 14, 1950, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Oneida, and celebrated 54 years together until his passing on June 12, 2004.  They raised 7 children on the farm, teaching all the values of hard work and helping others. Mom cooked many good meals and was always a pleasant, patient, and loving mother with a smile on her face. They moved to Freedom until Dad's retirement and then moved to Lake Poygan, where they spent many beautiful years. She also enjoyed camping, traveling, motorcycling, picking blackberries, and playing guitar. Mom loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and enjoyed having family gatherings. She loved baking and giving everyone cookies and cinnamon bread. Mom's heart was full of love and you couldn't help but feel it when you were around her. Always had a smile and would help anyone, but her greatest love was in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Dorothy is survived by her sons; Gary and his children, Jesse (Coleen), Jereme (significant other, Megan), Joshua (fiancé, Alyssa) and Jackie; Don (Beth) and their children, Jeff, Mike (Kristy), and Jamie (Ryan) Pike; Dennis (Jean) and their children, Devin, Delane (Chris) Kirst; Dorothy's daughters; Linda (Bill) Conrad and their children, Dawn (Barry) Van Groll, Amber (Chad) Krueger, Emily (Joe) Nechodom;  Lori and her son, Matt (Jessica) Drawenek; great-grandchildren; Alliyah, Tyler, Kevilee, Landon, Chase, Bryce, Owen, Lucas, Bryn, Jake, Amelia, JJ, Asher, Everett, Brooks, Isla, William, Addi, Addison Grace, Kaylin, Dean, Alexis and Macy; brother-in-law, Bob Lemmen and sister-in-law, June School.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin; and sons, Joe and Jerome; her parents, John and Marie School; brother, Merlin School; sister, Rosella Verbeten and grandson, Bradley, along with numerous other relatives.

A Mass of Resurrection will be on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at 11:00 am at St Patrick's Church in Stephensville with Fr. Michael Thiel officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 am – 11:00 am. Covid guidelines will be followed.  Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Town of Oneida.

The family would like to thank everyone at Living Tree Estates and also Nicole, Nancy, and Cliff at Ascension Hospice for their loving care.

We love you Mom and will follow your loving and caring heart.
