Duaine "Wayne" Pingel II, age 55 from Shiocton passed away July 19th, 2024 at ThedaCare Medical Center in Appleton, Wisconsin. He was born December 22, 1968, in New London. Wayne lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and a fun-loving spirit. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Wayne found joy in camping, kayaking, and board games, activities that allowed him to enjoy both the tranquility of nature and the company of both friends and family.
Wayne is survived by his beloved wife Joey Lynn; his four-legged babies, Madtee, Dozer and Digger; mother and father-in-law Paul and Vickie; sisters-in-law Jennifer, Julia, Fran, Marcy, Tessa, Kristy and Katelyn; brothers-in-law James, Andrew, Jason, Brent, Brian, Kyle and Dan; special son Austin Kain, whom he helped raise and mother-in-law Becky Heegeman. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Victoria Stevens; his father Duaine E. Pingel I; a brother; his father-in-law James R. Heegeman and all his other four-legged fur babies.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on August 18, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Romy's Nitingale in Black Creek WI. Friends, family, and those whose lives were touched by Wayne are warmly invited to share a meal and memories of a well lived life.
A big thanks to all the doctors, nurses, family, and friends for their continuous prayers and support.
