Dylan Ray Herb, age 18 of Shiocton passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Dylan was born on November 1, 2004 to Paul Herb and Bobbi (Hermann) Steinacker. He was a 2023 graduate of Shiocton High School. Dylan had many proud accomplishments during his high school career; he played on the 2022 Runner-Up State Football Team, was a two-time individual state wrestling qualifier and a wrestler on the 2023 Shiocton Team State Wrestling squad. Dylan was honored to be able to play at Camp Randall Stadium, The Kohl Center and the UW Field House, alongside his friends. He was currently employed at Lunda Construction and Herb Farms. He enjoyed doing what most 18 year olds enjoy- hunting, fishing, camping with family, Crandon Races, Bean Bags at Vista, trucks (burnouts), snowmobiling, driving John Deere tractors and hanging out with cousins and friends, especially Carly Ann.
Dylan is survived by his parents, Paul and Tina Herb and Loren and Bobbi Steinacker; sister, Grace Steinacker; paternal grandmother, Carol Herb; maternal grandmother, Joan Merkes; grandfather, Jeff Steinacker; great-grandmother, Evelyn Steinacker and bonus siblings, Brady, Madisyn and Tayler and Dylan's second family, the Helsers. Dylan was preceded in death by his grandpa, Raymond Herb; grandma, Sue Steinacker, great-grandpa, Bruce Steinacker; uncle, Paul Gunderson and great-grandparents, Norbert and Carmen Merkes.
The Funeral Service for Dylan will be at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Greenville. The visitation will take place from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
