Ellen Mae (Redfield) Rusch, age 86 of Greenville, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Carolina Manor in Grand Chute. Ellen was born in Fond du Lac on August 18, 1938, to the late Alta and Marcella (Brehm) Redfield. She graduated from St. Mary High School with the class of 1956. Ellen married Len Rusch Jr. on September 12, 1959 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha.

Ellen worked at Marathon Corporation/American Can in the shipping department from 1956 – 1960. She then went on to work for Lakeview Credit Union in Neenah for over 22 years, retiring in January 2000. Ellen and Len wintered in Apache Junction, AZ for 23 years. She had many hobbies and interests. She enjoyed camping, planting flowers, gardening, watching the grandkids, and taking photos. As a lifelong Green Bay Packer fan, Ellen loved attending, watching and cheering them on!

Ellen is survived by her loving husband, Len, of 65 years; her daughter, Amy (Steve) Eidenschink; sons, Thomas (Deb) Rusch, and Daniel (Tami) Rusch; and daughter-in-law, Anita Rusch. She is further survived by ten grandchildren, Cassie (Peter In), Chris (Rianna Ogawa), Jayme Hall, Jenny Walters, Chelsea (Todd) Parker, Mallory (Maui Perry) Rusch, Matt (Kristin) Eidenschink, Ben (Alicia) Eidenschink, Nick, Kamille (Robert) Schagel; great-grandchildren, Elisha, Charlie, Zoe, Poppy Rae, Samuel, Joseph, Kate, Grace; her siblings, Barbara (David) Spoehr, Mary (Bob) Van Elzen, Margie (Mike) Reetz, Pat Angell, Janice Redfield and Eileen (Pete) Mahoney; along with brothers-in-law, Dave Rusch, Jim (Kathy) Rusch, and  Elvin "Boots" Thompson;.

In addition to her parents, Alta and Marcella, Ellen was preceded in death by her son, Tim Rusch; brother-in-law, Gary Angell; sisters-in-law, Joanne Thompson and Fern Rusch; great-grandson, Dylan John Rusch; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Carolina Manor for the excellent and compassionate care of Ellen.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London, with Fr. David Hoffman officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Most Precious Blood Cemetery in New London.
