Evelania Jones, age 88 of New London, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at ThedaCare in Appleton.  Evelania was born on July 27, 1937 in Montcolm, West Virginia to the late Stewart and Cora (O'Donnel) Davidson.  On February 26, 1954 she married Bobby Lee Jones in Montcolm.  Evelania collected elephants and her collection exceeds 6000!  She loved the color red and to go gambling.  Evelania ran her thrift store and also sold jewelry from her home.  She and her husband, Bobby Lee built Fremont River Court Resort in 1965 and operated it until 2007.  It is now known as Bluejays.

Evelania is survived by her son, Darrell Lee Jones (Kim Kiernicki); grandchild, April Chopp and brother, Okley Davidson.

Evelania was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bobby Lee (7/20/2013).
