Frances Artz's Funeral Mass Video

Frances M. Artz, age 93 of Manawa went to her heavenly home on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Manawa Community Living Center.  Frances was born on April 2, 1929 in Chicago, IL to the late Militon and Jesse (Almaguer) Amador.  On December 26, 1959 she was united in marriage to Melvin Artz at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London.  He preceded her in death in 2010.  Melvin and Frances lived and farmed in Manawa, Town of Lebanon and raised three sons, whom she was very proud of.  Frances was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church most of her life.

Frances is survived by her three sons, Tom Artz (special friend, Sharon) Carl (Sandra) Artz and John Artz; brothers, Philip Amador and Joe (Linda) Amador; sister-in-law, Rose Artz; grandchildren, Bonnie (Andy) Shie, Kristin (Nick) Traunter and Jordan Artz and great-grandchildren, Taylor, Benjamin, Zachary, Clara and Ashley.  Frances is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends whom she cherished deeply.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, John, Carmel and Benny Amador and sister, Guadalupe.

The Funeral Mass for Frances will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Lebanon with Fr. John Kleinschmidt officiating.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the mass.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
