Gary Laluzerne's Funeral Service Video

Garrett "Gary" Laluzerne, age 83, New London, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023. Gary was born in Brussels, WI on June 8, 1940 to the late Gordon and Mildred (Gilson) Laluzerne. He attended Brussels High School and then graduated from UW-Oshkosh. He married Susan Semrau on February 20, 1965 in Green Bay, WI and together they raised three children, Jason, Andy, and Travis.

Gary worked for Bemis (Curwood) as a Senior Product Development Engineer. He liked traveling, but never by air, and road trips out west in his van that he customized by hand. He loved classic cars, fixing the house, and he also did some woodworking. He loved his grandchildren and always checked in to see how they were doing.

Gary is survived by his three sons, Jason (Leah) Laluzerne, Andy (Lisa) Laluzerne and Travis (Jen) Laluzerne; grandchildren, Bryce (Danielle) Laluzerne, Elise Laluzerne, Ellery Laluzerne, Isabelle Laluzerne, and Sydney Laluzerne; siblings, Darrel (Elaine) Laluzerne and Elaine (Larry) DeKeyser; sister in-law, Elaine Laluzerne and brother in-law, Ken (Lois) Semrau.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Mildred; his wife, Susan, his brother, Tom, and infant brother Myron; sisters in-law, Donna (Perk) Pierquet and Robin (Tom) Magnuson; brother in-law, Leroy (Orian) Semrau.

The Funeral Service for Gary will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Visitation will take place from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will be Floral Hill Cemetery, New London at a later date.
