Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glenn W. Kluge, born to eternal life Tuesday, March 10, 2026.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather to those dear to him.

Glenn was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1941 to the late Willard and Gertrude (Neumann) Kluge.  He graduated from Washington Senior High School in New London, WI in 1960. He then went on to work over 30 years at WE Energies. On September 3, 1966 Glenn married Sharon Spencer in Weyauwega, WI.  They celebrated 59 wonderful years together having shared two children; Stacey and Steve.

Glenn loved being on the water, sitting on a dock or fishing for walleye and pan fish. Driving the back roads of Wisconsin and looking at deer and wildlife were of his favorite pastimes. The look of a nice, detailed car always brought a smile to his face. He enjoyed browsing the internet and listening to music; especially his favorite band, the Eagles. More than anything else in the whole wide world, though, Glenn loved his family and cherished every moment he could spend with his wife, kids, and grandkids. Glenn is survived by his wife Sharon; his daughter Stacey Comparin and son Steve Kluge; and his grandchildren Noelle and Deirdri Comparin, and Sean and Caroline Kluge. He is further survived by a sister, Lynn Page. He was preceded in death by his parents; Bill and Gertrude Kluge, brother-in-laws; John Page, Jack Spencer, Jerry Spencer, and Del Jeffers: and his sister-in-law; Bonnie Spencer. Glenn's legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love will be carried on by those who knew and adored him.

Family would like to thank Moments Hospice for their care of Glenn. The nurses Faedra and Maureen; and home health aids Sherra and Melissa provided amazing care during his final days. Family would also like to thank the staff of Country Villa Assisted Living for their compassion, and tender loving care.

A private service for family will be held at a later date.
