Grace Southard's Funeral Service Video Grace Lilian Southard, age 6 of New London, went to heaven on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. Grace was born on February 13, 2016, in New London to Durin Christen and Brianna Southard. She loved butterflies, flowers and being outside. Grace was a princess and a warrior, all in one. A creator, a lover, a storyteller, and a dreamer. She always looked forward to going to her grandpas and sneaking treats, playing soccer, and spending time with her beloved siblings Nova and Maddox. Grace had a gift of turning strangers into friends. If you knew her, you were changed by her.

Grace is survived by her parents, Brianna Southard and Durin Christen (Shae Christen); maternal grandparents, Abbey Southard (Shane Johnston) and Joshua Dupie; paternal grandparents, Ahava and Jeremiah Christen; siblings, Nova and Maddox; great-grandmothers, Diana Reath, Debaroo, Karen Christen and Suzanne Cotton; great-grandfathers, Ronald Holtz, Richard Southard, and Mike Ace and aunts and uncles, Max Nowak, Allison Nowak, Najahlaye Trigueiro, Alana Christen, Silas Christen and Henry Christen.

Grace was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Judy Akerlund.

The funeral service for Grace will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
