Irene Margaret Pingel, age 73, of Clintonville, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Greentree Health and Rehabilitation in Clintonville.  Irene was born in New London on September 30, 1950 to the late Leonard and Margaret (Gough) Blank. She was united in marriage to Duaine E. Pingel on June 6, 1977.   Irene liked playing bingo and putting together puzzles.  She really loved talking on the phone, going to rummage sales and visiting with her friends.  Irene had a special place in her heart for her cats and she was loved very much by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Irene is survived by her children, Candy (Michael) Adams and Leroy (Roberta) Pingel; grandchildren, Courtney (Zack) Adams-Oberle, Joshua Adams and Dominic Pingel; great-grandchild, Rhett Adams.  Siblings, Art (Debbie) Blank, John Prahl, Tom Blank, Helen Dessort, Susan Babcock, Leonard "Butch" Blank, Milton "Mike" (Barb) Blank and Pat Kmecheck.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents; and husband.

A Graveside Service for Irene will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Floral Hill Cemetery in New London.
