Obituary

James Charles Binversie, age 73, of Hortonville, died peacefully while asleep on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, following a two year battle with cancer.  Jim was born on October 23, 1948 in New Holstein to the late Joseph and Marian (Klauck) Binversie.  He was united in marriage to Ann Louise Trunk on July 17, 1971.  Jim graduated from Appleton High School- Class of 1967.  He was working while in high school and entered the full-time workforce immediately following graduation.  Jim worked a variety of jobs- from machinist to picking orders for Nash-Finch to owning and operating his own trucking business. He and his wife, Ann, owned a bar, where he was head of "maintenance".  Jim loved his toys, and always needed more than one.  Motorcycles, snowmobiles, boats, etc. He especially loved his 1968 Dodge Charger.  He treasured his time spent at his cottage on Legend Lake.  To Jim, there was nothing better than an Old Fashioned and a pontoon ride at sunset. His skills in the pyrotechnic field made him a 4 th of July mainstay in the Lakes area.  Jim was an independent man, who fearlessly pursued his passions and always did his thing.

Jim is survived by his spouse, Ann; children, Glen (fiancé, Rachel) Binversie, Jennifer (Matt) Stuewer and Craig Binversie; grandchildren, Ethan, Crystal, Skylar, Kyle, Justin, Jada and Brooklyn; siblings, Tom (Penni) Binversie  and Sue (Charlie) Mullen and sister-in-law, Amy Binversie.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John.

In keeping with Jim's wishes, no public service will be held.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
