Jamie's Funeral Service Video

Jamie Ann (Weisgerber) Hansen, age 57, of Oshkosh, lost her battle with cancer on Friday September 6, 2024 in her home surrounded by family and friends.  Jamie was born on March 18th, 1967 in New London, daughter of Dave & Gretchyn (Elk) Weisgerber.  Jamie graduated from New London High School in 1985.  She continued her education at Fox Valley Technical School with a focus on Information Technology.  Following her schooling, she worked for Amcor, formerly Bemis, for 30+ years, until her retirement as Project Manager in 2021.  Jamie was an avid and passionate reader, she would read multiple books within a week, sometimes sacrificing her sleep in order to finish said books.  First and foremost, her greatest love was for family and friends.  She would spend any given chance to be with the ones she loved and cherished.  Jamie was a steward of putting others first.  She was a selfless caring person that cherished quality time spent.

Jamie is survived by her husband, Doug; her two children Noah and Sabrina; her father, Dave; sisters, Julie (Dave) Flanagan and Lori (David) Kane; brother David Jr. (Katie) Weisgerber; brother-in-law, Brian (Kristen) Hansen; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gretchyn and father-in-law Robert Hansen and mother-in-law Kathy Olsen, and brother-in-law, Kirk Hansen.

A Memorial Service for Jamie will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday September 13, 2024 at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London with Fr. Tom Long officiating.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m..  Interment will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Oshkosh.
