Jane Hammerberg's Memorial Service Video

Jane E. Hammerberg, age 90, went to her heavenly home on Monday, November 28, 2022.  She was born on December 8, 1931, in New London WI daughter of the George and Elizabeth (Arndt) Urban. Jane attended Emanuel Lutheran Grade School in New London and graduated from Washington High School in 1949.  She was a life-long member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London.   On August 7, 1957, she was united in marriage to Robert Hammerberg. They enjoyed 60 years of marriage.  He preceded her in death in 2017.  Jane was a homemaker and worked various jobs, the AT&T phone company, First State Bank, Faye R. Smith's Jewelry and the New London Public Library. She enjoyed knitting and spending time with her family.

Jane is survived by her son Paul Hammerberg; grandsons: Cody and Erik Hammerberg; daughter-in-law Dr. Lucille Porter; sister-in-law Norma Hammerberg. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Jon Hammerberg; sisters and brothers and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

A Memorial service for Jane will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home with Rev. Marcus Schulz officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
