July 7, 1975 – August 10, 2022
Jason D. "Steiny" Steingraber, age 47 of New London, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, while camping. Jason was born on July 7, 1975 in New London, the son of Donald and Shirley (Stevenson) Steingraber. He graduated from New London High School in 1994. Jason worked for MCC in New London and currently was employed at Amcor in Oshkosh. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London. Jason was united in marriage to Kerri Paul on August 9, 2008. In this union, he became a step-father to Kerri's two sons. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Jason was a people person. He loved talking and was fun to be around. Jason had a contagious laugh and smile that lit up the room. He loved camping with his wife and grandkids, hunting, going to the casino and going on tropical vacations with his wife. He was always willing to help others! He gave the best hugs. His death leaves a huge hole in our hearts.
Jason is survived by his wife, Kerri; step-sons, Brandon Dilge and Brent (Katlin) Dilge and their children, Finlee, Graham, Brooks and Collins; father and mother-in-law, Garry and Debbie Paul; sisters-in-law, Rebecca (Danny) Willis and Jennifer (Scott) Tate; nephews, Aidan and Drew and nieces, Megan and Abby. Jason is further survived by his mother, Shirley Steingraber; sisters, Janet (David) Bessette, Kristin (Daniel) Bandi and Kim (Greg) Brown; brother, Andrew (Jessi) Steingraber; nieces, Drew and Avery Steingraber; step-nephew, Tylan (Brittany) Brown; his aunt, Sharon Maes and uncle, Scott (Diana) Stevenson. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, Donald; grandparents, Arnold and Hildegard Steingraber and Orin and Erma Stevenson and uncle, James Maes.
The funeral service for Jason will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
