Jaxonn Kevin
Monte Downing
January 11, 2008 – March 31, 2022
Jaxonn Downing's Funeral Service Video Jaxonn Kevin Monte Downing, age 14, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022. He was born to Shane and Jennifer (Miller) Downing on January 11, 2008, in Appleton. Jaxonn was an 8th-grade student at Hortonville Middle School. His high level of intelligence and curious nature made him an easy person to be around. He had the ability to inject humor into any situation - making people laugh was his specialty.
He visited many countries, which served to inspire his culinary curiosities. He loved new foods and would fearlessly try anything unusual. When not traveling, at home he continued to "travel" through his plethora of exotic teas. If his red tea kettle was not squealing, he could be found adding any of his 30-plus hot sauces to make anything into a "gourmet" meal.
We would often find him eating takis and playing video games with his friends. Jaxonn was a talented athlete – playing offensive and defensive lineman on the football field, as well as being a wrestler. Jaxonn had a deep love for music, indicated by his eclectic playlists. He was a gifted drummer and dabbled in the electric guitar. Of all his accomplishments, Jaxonn was most proud of raising and training his dog Mylo.
Jaxonn is survived by his parents, and siblings; Christopher (fiancé Trelee Riehl) Jentz and his son Steven G. Jentz, Elainna (Michael) Schroeder, Mackenzie (Kyle Sutta) Jentz, Mollie (fiancé Gunnar Ploch) Jentz, Wyatt (Chelsea Shuda) Jentz and Lillyonna Downing; Grandparents Kevin Downing and Mary Hercules. Important and influential people in Jaxonn's life include; Kim Kayser and family, Steve T. Jentz, and James Krivoshein. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by a younger sister Sophia, maternal grandparents Lloyd and Elaine Miller, great-grandpa Roy Downing, great aunt Jeannie Riley, and a cousin Myron Bock.
