Jayne Deeg's Memorial Service Video

Jayne Deeg (Schultz), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away at the age of 68, on Sunday, October 27, 2024 surrounded by her family. Jayne was born on October 26, 1956 in Portage to the late Wayne and Lida (Fredrick) Schultz. She married the love of her life, Daniel Deeg, on November 14, 2007 in Key West.

Jayne was the owner of Bean City Bar & Grill for 18 years and met many wonderful people throughout the years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. She was an avid Packer fan. She enjoyed bingo, playing cards and puzzles. In the summer time, she enjoyed planting flowers all around the house.

Jayne is survived by her husband of nearly 17 years, Daniel; children, Cory (Joe) Patz, Chad (Genelle) Hedtke, Shane (Gretchen) Hedtke and Cara Krull; grandchildren, Trent Wendt, Tyler (Stefanie) Wendt, Kaitlen (Holly) Moericke, Ayden (Maya) Lango, Kayson Krull and Sy Hedtke; along with great grandchildren, Joshua and Ella Wendt. Jayne is further survived by her brothers and sisters, Janis (Bob) Olinger, Vaughn (Judy) Schultz, Wayne "Dean" Schultz, Loran (special friend Hope) Schultz, Harlan Schultz, Sandy (Tim) Dufrane, Dianne (Greg) Boney, Donna "Kelly" (Alfredo) Rodriguez, Ronald Hampshire, Donald (Mary) Hampshire, Rhonda (Brian) Euhardy, Jody (Scott) Carpenter, and Marc (Tammy) Schultz.

Jayne was preceded in death by her parents, Lida May (Wood) Hampshire, Wayne (Shari) Schultz; and her sister Sharon Gawenda.

The family would like to thank Dr. Starr, Dr. Abbi and the Cancer Center Staff at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, along with the Hospice and Palliative Care Team for the great service they provided Jayne.

The Funeral Service for Jayne will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London with Rev. Kevin Dembinski officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
