Jeanette Beatrice (Weber) Pankow, of Hortonville, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023, just four days shy of her 93rd birthday. Jeanette was born on November 8, 1930 in Eldorado, Wisconsin, to the late Aldor and Grace Weber.
After graduating from high school, Jeanette worked at AAL before marrying Milton Pankow on November 7, 1953. She volunteered at Appleton Medical Center for 10 years. She was a poll worker on the Election Board for 25 years. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, serving several offices, including the Ladies Aid and Altar Guild for 25 years.
Jeanette had a passion for cooking and baking and her skills were well known. She even had her own cook book! Her love language was cooking and it will be passed down through the generations that follow her.
Jeanette is survived by her children, Brian (Linda) Pankow, Karen (Don) Briggs, Karla (Greg) Huss, Paula (CJ) Quiñones; grandchildren, Steven (Samantha) Pankow, Kristen (fiancé, Joe) Pankow, Jeremy (Ashley) Briggs, Erick Briggs, Amanda (Travis) Rebman, Kayla (Gram) Weed, Amber (Brad) Koffarnus, Tyler (Amy) Huss, Isaac, Katya, Evan, Annika Quiñones, great-grandchildren, Amelie, Colin, Blake, Beatrice, Breanna, Kennedy, Myla, Edison, Eva, Nora; and her brother, Gene (Dottie) Weber; and sister in-law, Ruth Pankow. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Milton; parents, Aldor and Grace; mother in-law and father in-law, Hilda and Harry Pankow; brother in-laws, Erwin, Aaron, and Melvin Pankow; sister in-laws, Sarah Pankow and Jackie Pankow.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville with Rev. Kevin Westra officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Hortonville.
