Jeff's Funeral Service Video

Jeff Petit, age 55 of New London, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Froedtert Hospital surrounded by his loved ones.  Jeff was born on September 15, 1970 to Larry and Dorothy (Reinhardt) Petit.  He married Christine Dreier on October 26, 1991.  Jeff built bridges for a living and in his free time he liked building things, dirt car racing with his family and watching football.  His true love was spending time with his grandchildren, who meant the world to him.

Jeff is survived by his wife; sons, Cole (Aleesha) Petit and Dillon Petit; grandchildren, Louis and Leanne Petit; his mother, Dorothy Petit; brother, Jerry Petit; sister, Tina Rush; mother-in-law, Janet Dreier; brother-in-law, Wesley (Melinda) Dreier; one niece and three nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Larry; father-in-law, Louis Dreier; his grandparents; brother-in-law, Curt Rush and a nephew.

The Funeral Service for Jeff will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London with Rev. Mark Tiefel officiating.  The visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
