Jena Schimmel Funeral Service Video Jena M. (Young) Schimmel, age 28, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 24, 2021.  She was born on October 25, 1992, in Neenah.  Jena worked as a CNA at various nursing homes and was currently enrolled in an online school studying psychology. She was a caring lighthearted, and sarcastic person. Her kids and family were her whole world.

Jena is survived by her children, Avaeda, Bryton, and Zenoviarah; parents Al and LuAnn Young; brothers, Jacob Young and Justin Young (girlfriend Morgan); three nephews, Hunter, Mitchel, and Hudson; her maternal grandparents' Art and Diane Gerndt and paternal grandmother Beverly Young and a sister-in-law Sara LeComte. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother Jordan, and her paternal grandfather Roger Young, cousin Scott Young, and special friends Mitchel and Daphne Hankey.

Funeral services for Jena will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021, at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London with Rev. William Heiges officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
