Jerome McKeever Memorial Service Video

Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of Jerome McKeever.  Jerry, age 78, lived in the Town of Ellington. He was a father, a grandfather, a brother, an uncle, and a friend. He will be missed by his two dogs, Libby and Murphy, and everyone who knew him.

Jerry was born on October 10, 1947 to the late Elmer "Mac" and Erma (Klein) McKeever. He served in the U.S. Navy and fought in Vietnam as a Seabee. On February 9, 1974, Jerry married Sandy Warning. They were blessed with 31 years together, and two children, before her passing in 2005. Jerry was a member of the Harley Classic Riders. He was the town constable and he worked road construction for Carew Concrete. In his free time, he enjoyed deer hunting, riding motorcycles, driving his corvette, and spending time with his dogs.

Jerry is survived by his son, Brad (Mary) McKeever; and his daughter, Katie McKeever; grandchildren, Savannah, Harleigh, Ethan, Isabella, and Bennett; in-laws, Nancy and Dave Gosse, and their daughter, Kim (Chris) Smith; Robert Jentz, and his sons, Brad (Natalie) and Brian; Roger (Cindy) Warning, and their son, Brandon (Briana); Randy (Lori) Warning, and Lori's girls, Brittany, Brooke and Brenna Jack. He is further survived by his God children, Penny Griesbach, Lori Haase-Ingrilli, Michael McKeever; and numerous other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sandy; his parents, Elmer and Erma; his brothers, James and William McKeever; his sisters, Joan Griesbach, Pat Verhoven, and Rosemary Wiegand; his sister-in-law, Vicki Jentz, and Vicki's son, Benjamin Jentz.

The Memorial Service for Jerry will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville, with Fr. Phil Schoofs as celebrant. The visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will be at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
