John H. Fields, age 88 of New London, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at his residence.  John was born on March 28, 1935 in Newark, OH to the late John and Helen (Casler) Fields.  He married Mary Ellen Romberg on December 8, 1973.  John was an actor by trade.  He was a lover of all creatures great and small.  His passions in life included scuba diving and underwater and wildlife photography. In lieu of flowers the family requests making donations on John's behalf to  Alzeihimer's Foundation of America, Wounded Warrior Project, World Central Kitchen, or a local charity of your choice.
