John H. Trambauer III, age 54 of Waupaca, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024.  Anyone who knew John would know his huge heart.  Many called him "Big John", although he would say "I'm Little John. I can't fill my dad's shoes."  He lived hard….snowmobiling, fishing, hunting and trapping.  John did it all!  He was honored and humbled to work at Oshkosh Truck, making vehicles to keep our military safe.  He would say….. "Hold your loved ones close, tomorrow isn't promised."

John is survived by his wife, Michelle; mother, Marlene Trambauer; daughter, Kayla (Dillion) Staniford; granddaughters, Hazelee and Harmony; son, Scott DeCaluwe; sister, Lisa Trambauer (special friend, Jason Rateau); and niece, Leah Evers.

John was preceded in death by his mentors, his father, John H. Trambauer Jr. and John H. Trambauer the first.
