Joe's Funeral Service Video

Joseph P. Amador, age 90 of New London, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15, 2023 at ThedaCare Neenah. Joe was born on January 28, 1933 in Manawa, the son of the late Milton and Jesse (Almaguer) Amador. On August 8, 1964 he married Lynda Lou Rousseau at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London. Joe was a lover of the outdoors. He was an avid camper- something he thoroughly loved doing. He enjoyed a cold beer, chatting with friends and watching football. He truly loved visits from friends and family.

Those left to cherish Joe's memory are his wife, Lynda; children, Robin Lynn (Steven Bohm) Bartelt and Mike Amador; grandchildren, Jason, Joe, Jamie, Jody, Jacob, Ashlee, Aleesha, Amanda and Madasin; eleven great-grandchildren and his brother, Phillip Amador.

Joe was preceded in death by his sons, Rick Allen and Douglas Amador and his siblings, John, Carmel, Benny, Guadalupe and Frances.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Joe will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London with Fr. John Kleinschmidt officiating. The visitation will take place at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
