Joshua Shane Demeniuk
January 29, 1986 - June 7, 2023
Joshua Shane Demeniuk, age 37 of New London, Wisconsin, lost his ongoing battle to Mental Illness on June 7, 2023. He was born on January 29, 1986, in Royal Oak, Michigan, to Gregory and the late Marcia (Hill) Demeniuk. Joshua met Missy Young in 2005 and they had a son Joshua Demeniuk Jr in 2007. Although his and Missy's relationship didn't work out, they continued to be friends and co-parent. He was always an active part of the Young family where he was loved and accepted by all.
Joshua was a jack of all trades. He worked in the food industry, factories, construction, home repairs and remodeling. He always said his greatest accomplishment was being a dad and making memories with his son.
Joshua had a great faith and love for God. He loved the outdoors and could often be found fishing, camping, around a bonfire, swimming, traveling and attending amusement and water parks. He also enjoyed attending concerts, playing cards and board games. Texas Hold'em being his favorite. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his son, family and friends. He absolutely loved family gatherings and cookouts. If anyone could make you laugh or smile it was him. He could sure tell some funny jokes. He was a devoted son, brother, dad, uncle, cousin and friend who will be missed by all.
Joshua is survived by his son Joshua Demeniuk Jr, mother of his son Missy Young, father Gregory Demeniuk, siblings Christiaan Demeniuk and Adam Demeniuk and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Joshua was preceded in death by his mother Marcia (Hill) Demeniuk, brother Gregory Demeniuk and grandparents Joseph and Stella (Belunas) Demeniuk and Henry and Minnie (Fletcher) Hill.
The Celebration of Life for Joshua will be at 3pm on Friday, June 23, 2023 at the Weyauwega City Hall, 109 E Main St, Weyauwega, WI 54983.
