Joyce Daily's Memorial Service Video

Joyce Marie Daily, age 77 of New London, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024.  She was born on March 6, 1946 in Milwaukee to the late Charles and Martha (Schnieder) Ehley. Joyce grew up and went to school in Menomonee Falls.  She was then married and raised her family in Land O' Lakes.  At a crucial time in her life, she met Jack Bowman and they were inseparable for 29 years.  He preceded her in death in 2019 and she missed him dearly ever since.  Joyce was the life of the party and a person of unmatched determination.  Her family was her life!  She was the best mom, grandma and great-grandma.  Joyce was never at a loss when it came to telling tall tales – from being an Olympic swimmer, to singing and recording with Kenny Rogers and Elvis, himself! She could sell ice to an Eskimo.  In their later years, Joyce and Jack traveled a little and enjoyed camping and fishing. She was a talented crafter and expressed her love through creativity.  Joyce was a rock of unimaginable strength.  She courageously battled cancer for 30 years – and kicked its ass.  She will be loved and missed greatly – but not her chocolate cake.

Joyce is survived by her children, Cari Ann (Jeff) Lenz, Bobbi Jo Daily and Amy Jo (Billy Bonnett) Daily; grandchildren, Matthew Lenz, Andrew (Sarah Petry) Lenz, Jared (Catey Granger) Lenz, Elizabeth Schult, Nathan (Kimberly) Rantanen, Michael (Ashley) Kanngieser, Justin (JaymiJo) Daily and Martha (Nathan Born) Rietbrock; great-grandchildren, Ashton, Colton, Aiden, Parker, Aspen, Kallen, Atlas and Katara; siblings, Marion andsneider, Barb (Jim) Ellingsworth, Lois Ford and Richard (Sherry) Ehley and sister-in-law, Darlene Ehley.  Additionally, she is survived by Jack's sons, Jim (Wendy) Bowman and John (Kim) Bowman.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; significant other, Jack Bowman; twin sister, Judy (Pete) Seifert, siblings, LaVern Ehley,  Jim (Regina) Ehley, Fay (Ed) Koeferel, Geri (Lucky) Frank and Charles (Barb) Ehley and brothers-in-law, Kenneth Wandsneider and Don Ford.

The Memorial Service for Joyce will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London with Chaplain Ben Frei officiating.  The visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
